VersaFeed is a product data feed company used by large ecommerce companies. We transform messy product data from retailers into clean feeds for Google, Meta, TikTok, and other channels. Our clients include brands like Kroger, The North Face, Discount Tire, and Lands’ End. We have been in business for 19 years.
We are looking for a Director of Enterprise Sales to build our sales infrastructure, do both warm & cold outreach, and boost revenue by closing more deals.
Job Description
As a department lead, you will prospect, nurture, and close enterprise deals using both existing channels and your own outbound initiatives. The buck stops with you; this is a high-accountability role.
You will also help on the biz dev side by solidifying current agency partnerships and creating new ones (in time, you will hire a separate biz dev/partnerships lead to help on that side).
What You Will Do
- Outbound: Prospect, nurture, and close new enterprise sales opportunities. Use signals to gauge interest.
- Inbound: Follow up with leads from the website, referrals, and partners.
- Work with our marketing team to optimize outbound campaigns.
- Use LinkedIn, email, phone, HubSpot, Clay, Lemlist, Sales Navigator, and old-fashioned persistence to get in front of the right people.
- Build and strengthen relationships with ad agencies who can refer business.
- Learn VersaFeed’s product deeply enough to talk intelligently with technical buyers, ecommerce teams, and agencies.
- Use HubSpot for sales activity, pipeline, contacts, follow-up, signal tracking and reporting.
- Travel when it matters for high-value prospects (trade shows, key partners, whales).
- Help define the future sales and partnerships team, including role design, hiring, and training.
Who You Are
- Experienced: 10+ years of experience in enterprise tech sales or revenue-focused business development in a similar space (adtech, ecommerce, SEM, ad agency, etc.).
- Proven Closer: Have recently closed real B2B deals with meaningful contract values.
- Not afraid of cold outreach—email, phone, LinkedIn, mailers, trade shows... whatever works.
- Technical enough to thrive in an engineering-led company. You should not be intimidated by XML, CSV files, complex spreadsheets, APIs, HubSpot workflows, etc.
- Organized and Methodical: VersaFeed is an engineering-first company. Sloppy notes and vague progress updates will not work here.
- Able to operate without a big-company support system. We are a small team.
- You understand that this is a building role. You will be selling now, but long term helping to staff/train new sales and biz dev hires.
- Get-it-done mentality. Ready for a challenge.
Ideal Background
- Experience with product feeds, Google Merchant Center, shopping ads, ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, or retail media.
- Experience selling to large retailers, brands, ecommerce teams, or agencies.
- Experience at a small company or startup.
- Experience with HubSpot, Clay, Lemlist, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A quantitative or technical degree is a plus: Finance, IT/Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Life Sciences.
The Product
- VersaFeed ingests raw product data from ecommerce platforms, PIMs, ERPs, databases, APIs, files, and legacy systems. We clean, transform, optimize, and distribute that data to channels like Google, Meta, TikTok, review platforms, CRMs, and other channels.
- This is a high-end enterprise service. We are not a cheap self-service feed tool. We are the company clients call when their data is complicated, their systems are messy, and they need experienced people to make it sing.
- VersaFeed’s software is a 100% custom, in-house, purpose-built stack. We do not use third-party systems or white-label solutions. We are an AI-first company and have an incredible, modern feature set that continues to outperform competitors.

- VersaFeed has operated for 19 years with strong technical roots. All three founders have comp-sci backgrounds. We are self-funded. No VC money. No fake growth story. No bloated headcount.
- We work with large companies, but we are still a small team. People here are expected to be smart, practical, direct, and useful. We have strong engineering, support, and account management teams.

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $215K–$295K OTE, depending on experience and skills fit. Expected structure is 50% base and 50% commission.
